  1. Gusev, Nikita [RFA Rights]
VGK
  1. Björkqvist, Kasper
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
Becomes a second if Gusev is still on the team and scores 15-20 goals in 2019-20 or 2020-21, and becomes a first if the previous conditions are met and he scores 25-30 goals in one season
2.
PIT
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
  2. 2020 5th round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Puljujarvi hasn't been able to stay in the NHL for a full season yet, and has came out and said he isn't playing another game in Edmonton, they have almost 0 leverage in a trade, and it's not like the player has been that impressive in his time in the NHL, they're getting something back for an asset that they probably won't get anything from him
EDM
  1. 2020 3rd round pick (PIT)
3.
PIT
  1. 2020 4th round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
They still have cap space I think, they still need another middle six forward, the pens need cap space...

I normally would ask why Sakic would bail out the Pens and help their cap situation out, but then again he just did it to Toronto.

EDM might not have leverage but neither does Puljujarvi.. he will be off to Europe unless team gives a real offer which isn't upgrading 5th to a 3rd

I saw Bjorkqvist and a second for Gusev, and most people agreed with that, so I changed it so that assuming he stays, which he probably will, it'll be Bjorkqvist and a second, and if he plays well it'll be Bjorkqvist and a first, and if he underperforms then it'll still be Bjorkqvist and a third which is probably an overpayment for a guy that didn't hit 15 goals

I was thinking this was more if pool party says trade me by August first or whatever, or else I'm going to Europe, and it's July 31 and he's still an oiler, they panic and decide to get something back for him instead of nothing

Yea, don't think that's happening pretty sure the management should.. hopefully feel like a year in Europe is best for his development and value
