Description
how nice would it be to get Duchene, Allen & Shattenkirk. Not realistic since Col has Berra & Pickard. Long term cap status is also more favorable to sign larger contracts in 2017/2018. This does leave an opening to lose a top player in expansion draft...possibly getting Dubi or Hartsy to waive their NMC for expansion eligibility.

    Shattenkirk is a UFA in a year, so it's almost like you have given up all those assets for Allen.

    No way Shattenkirk goes to Columbus. They already have Johnson, Savard, Murray, Jones and Werenski
