Description

Checked fan mock rosters from Vegas, TB, Winnipeg and Nashville. Common trades involving Risto included returns involving Ehlers, Eakin, Turris, Nick Bonino and Tyler Johnson among those Ehlers easily represents the best return, Buffalo however needs to sweeten the pot.

Long term look: Next offseason give Rhino 5m AAV, then we have to secure Mittlestadt, Thompson, Pilot, Vesey and Montour. Letting scandella, Bogo, Sheary walk opens up 12M in cap room for all of those deals. We may need to give away a big draft asset to move Okposo in order to secure Dahlins future in Blue and Gold.

According to you it seems Seby but not many other people agree. Risto suffered in Buffalo playing for historically bad teams and was being relied on to do too much. He is a strong top 4 defenseman if not a top pair guy.

also not sure if u noticed but I acknowledged Ehlers value by adding top prospect LW Nylander to the trade.

Nylander doesn't make up for the difference, Buffalo needs to add.
