I’d think Chicago would almost do anything to move Seabrook paper. That being said, I think there should be more added in return to Vancouver. Just my opinion

That's a LOT to be spending on a pretty weak right side D. Seabrook is like 25% of the player he used to be.

Chicago would do that deal in a heartbeat. In the end they lose less than a 1st round pick in value.. They can flip Tanev who at that much retained surely gets them a 2nd. They could also flip Virtanen to get back that 3rd or keep him. In reality Vancouver would never do this..

Also, Brandon Sutter has negative value at this point. You have to pay to get rid of him, not the other way around.

5 years of terrible 6.8 million dollar seabrooke , even for a middle 1st rounder do you want to take that cap space away from a team thats rising quickly by the looks of it. Thats another ufa next season or extending some rfas. Dont worry about the pick

I don't know what Chicago would do anymore. You could probably drop Seabrook and they'd do it right about now...
