Holy **** this is bad.

No interest in really ANY of your UFA signings.

DON'T TRADE EROD

I assume you don't think Olofsson or Cozens are on the roster in 2 years....or Pilut?

a bottom 6 forward and a defensive liability is worth more than a 2nd?
honestly think EDM is overpaying here...

Rodrigues alone is more valuable to Buffalo than a second. At least equal. Whatever their value may be Buffalo wouldn't trade them for a second rounder lmao. Way better off keeping both.

ok then - don't suggest the trade and keep both.
Buffalo's value for those guys is much higher because they lack any semblance of depth.

I never suggested the trade, its asinine lol. Risto and Rodrigues are damn well worth more than a second and it's useless talking to you if you think otherwise.

you need to clarify. Risto and Rod are damn well worth more than a 2nd "to the Sabres".

Boy, you must be fun at parties. Dig in a little further. When risto gets moved by himself for more than a second I'll be sure to come right back to this post.

EDIT: And if he doesn't get moved I'll be equally as happy because hes not as bad as you seem to think and our defense will be extremely deep.

i'm a ball.

feel free to do that. just remember, what buffalo gets out of Risto is not his value. buffalo has the upper hand in any trade involving him because they do not need to move him. team in need of RHD will be dealing from a less than ideal position. Risto is bad, one dimensional - he can play the point on the power play, that is all. wouldn't trust him on the ice for big time minutes or critical shifts. he is a 3rd pairs offensive defenseman, don't think he isn't anything other than that.

You're absolutely right. We've come full circle now. I didn't understand your argument, but you're not wrong. A 6'4 puck mover that has some nasty and can play PP will get something stupid from someone. Youll hear Sabres fans saying hes awful (he isn't as bad as those people say) and you'll also hear Sabres fans say he'll be in Norris contention after he's traded(This group is much crazier than the other group). I fall right in the middle. Useful player, not amazing, but don't trade him just for picks and maybes.
