Agreed. Puljujarvi is damaged goods. At very least, make the picks conditional on both players' respective performances.

Puljujarvi is higher risk higher reward... He could end up being another Yakupov or a 60 point+ guy...

I don't think Poolparty is the same as Yakupov. The problem with Yak was....Yak himself. (Between the ears) I don't think Puljujarvi has really developed yet, that is his problem. he just needs the right environment and the right role. I would gladly take Puljujarvi and give him a try next to KK with lower expectations.

Honestly if I'm Montreal, get both guys. We need someone to replace Shaw in the lineup and Gusev has tons a of skill and Poolparty would be a low risk, high reward player to try and reform on the 3rd/4th line with some PP time.

I know us Habs fans think Juulsen is untouchable but he is likely to never be more than a top 4 defensive minded dman with the Habs. What Poolparty has is way harder to find than what Juulsen can bring. Im not saying EDM shouldn't grab this 1 for 1 but we shouldn't be hesitant to send Juulsen either. Based on what I've seen, Juulsen's potential is a David Savard. Good player but nothing to throw yourself off a bridge for.

He is also expendable considering what we have coming up on the right side... Puljujarvi seems like the kind of gamble MB likes to take...
