No deal. Not a chance. Marner alone is worth more than Dumba and Zucker and even with the salary dump of Ceci, not even close.

Don't be foolish, and that's ten-fold for @csick. When dealing Mitch Marner, you need to ask yourself, is the pieces coming back worth more than 4 unprotected 1st round draft picks. In this case, Dumba and Zucker, the answer is very clearly no.

Lol what. Zucker is worth a B prospect and 1st. Dumba is worth like 2 1st rounders and an A- prospect

Did he receive an offer sheet for 4 x 1st pick?? NO, Why, because the Marner's value at 11 or 12M isn't that high!!! At 8M, he has a great value, but at over 11M, his value decrease for the other teams

Dumba is a top 2 defenceman. Zucker is a year removed from 30 goals but its cuz Minny wasn't that skilled this year.

I don't understand what you are saying. If he is traded or offersheeted, it is because Marner is unwilling to take under $10.5 million on a deal with term. So, anything above that, traded or offersheeted, would need to bring in compensation of such an offersheet or trade equivalent.

That is 100% how it works. If the Leafs cannot sign him by the internal deadline they've set for themselves, Mitch can either can find a new team that will pay him more than what the Leafs are offering OR they will trade him for max value, which you can bet will be at least offersheet compensation.

I actually do think Minnesota would be desperate enough to do something like this, and those 2 piece make sense for TOR. Honestly, TOR would be insane not to take this deal, right??

That's what I think. This is a nice defense for 2021 if it happens.

Exactly! It balances the team out. Rielly & Dumba would be absurd. Zucker would pot 40 playing with Nylander & Tavares. That team doesn't even look like it's missing anyone after this trade

Zucker had 31 goals with good teammates a year ago and still potted 20 this year playing with anchors. Yeah Dumba and Rielly are insane and would destroy the PP
