Hyman might be the biggest loser this offseason. With or without Marner, it is hard to see him playing that high with this group of wingers.

He will be with Tavares and marner I’m sure. Unless mikheyev does something similar eco all but he doesn’t seem to be much of a grinder which is what Hyman provides.

Mango with Matthews Hyman with Tavares and mikheyev with kerfoot or spezza. O think Moore will compete hard for that 3lw spot. I would venture a guess that he may even start with Tavares.

If Hyman takes a while to return from injury, it may open the door for more skilled players like Moore and presumably Mikheyev to take that spot. Babcock's need for a grinder on every line can't continue because they're all gone except for Hyman.
The top lines in the league don't carry depth players with no hands, the have skill guys playing with skill.

That 1st line LW spot is a prime position for a player to put up 70+ points playing with JT and presumably Marner. And the second first line will put up similar numbers.

The team is setup to win by 3 or 4 every night if the coach understands the philosophy.
