1. You probably need to take a lesser return in order for this to happen
2. Why are you trying to use Dominik Simon as a throw in?

Because he drives possession that results in nothing? He finished the last three months of the season (29 games) with 7 points (1 goal)

Yeah not a lot of people understand how impactful he can be because his game isn’t strictly X’s and O’s. Dude can drive possession like nobody’s business and the Guentzel-Crosby-Simon line absolutely buries people but nobody cares because he doesn’t score often.

That line combo has the potential to be the best line in the league.

The big thing people don’t care to realize is that having Simon on the top line not only makes the team better but it makes the team much deeper. Simon on that line basically delegates McCann and Rust (if he isn’t traded) to 3rd/4th line duties and that could help the team so much when it comes to truly being “hard to play against.”

The only thing with Simon though is he is so good he even makes the Bjugstad (Way overrated imo) line competent as well.

Yeah I totally get what you’re saying...it’s almost like Simon made that line look more competent than it actually is/was. If he isn’t on the top line
Simon-Bjugstad-Kahun would be really good as well.
