Rather have Kuli play than Phaneuf. Also no need for Thorburn, Appleton could play there and then you have Vesalainen where Appleton is. Laine won't sign for 3 years at that but that's whatever. Personally I'd rather have Copp signed longer and Pionk signed for less term.

No issues trading Comrie with Perreault but OTT has a billion Goalies so you'd have to pick another team.

In all seriousness though I think Roslovic needs to break out for us to be contenders in the playoffs. Little just doesn't seem to work at 2C, or at least not with Ehlers and Laine. He did have that stretch with Laine and Connor in November where Laine scored 18 goals and the line looked pretty good.

You think Vesalainen is ready, personally i think he needs another year in the A. I think Copp will end up going through the arbitration process is why i only have him for 1 year. I know absolutely nothing about Pionk, except his stats that he was absolutely horrible last year (4th last in the NHL in almost every defensive category) Phaneuf adds a grit and a veteran presence at a low cost. Kulikov is okay, injured a lot though, figure him and Phaneuf can split the season. Ottawa can take this trade, add Perrault and flip Comrie for a third to some other team i am sure.
