Didn't need the explanation. Your lines say it all.

As a Blues fan, you should know that Kane does not play center.

You have too. You have no cap space. Or a place for him

Kane can center. He's better at back checking as a center. No reason to have Strome centering a second line. Shaw is a grinder but can play well with Toews and Saad. Dach is young and can play on the wing for a year until he's ready. You're overloaded on defense because Keith and Seabrook are NMC. Just because I am a blues fan doesn't mean I don't know the Hawks roster. I made these lines this way because they obviously aren't working out right now. Don't have to be a bonehead about it tho

I shook up the lines because Kane needs to center. And you have a whole boat load of new guys so you have no idea how the lines will look

You're right. We don't really know how the lines are going to be but we know 2 things for sure. 1. Toews and kane on the first line. 2. DeBrincat and strome on the second line.
Another minor thing is kampf won't be center. They got carpenter because kampf isn't good at faceoffs.

De haan was the best move the hawks made this offseason. Much rather trade out maata.

I agree that De Haan is better. Both are hurt a lot though. Could dach make the team as a winger? Where should Shaw play?

I think if dach makes the team it's because he blew everyone away as a center. I don't see any scenario where they have home play wing.

Shaw is a bit of a wild card. I'd love him on the first line with toews and kane. Plant him in front of the net and have kane set up toews all game with shaw there to clean up the rebounds. I don't think he fits on the strome-debrincat line. Both strome and shaw like playing in front of the net. But he's probably the third line right wing because the hawks probably want caggiula or nylander (if he can handle it) on the first line Don't think his faceoffs are good enough to play center.
