never thought about a trade like this with the hopes that it makes us better vs SJS. would probably try to avoid trading Woo. so maybe Goldobin?

Well it frees up about 8 mill for you, you could sign Brassard/Boylwe/McQuaid and get more depth

Well the trade is basically a 2nd round pick, Woo and three bad contracts for Gaborik (IR) and Teirney. If you dropped the pick then I think this happens. Canucks have 8-10 good defence prospects right now. Juolevi and Hughes are supposed to be the studs of the future D roster....so move Woo.

Oh- but Eriksson gets to say where he goes so- would never happen.

help Van but hurts sens in every way...bad trade for OTT, does not fill ANY of their needs and get 2 more dead weight bodies in the lineup take the spot of prospects who could use NHL experiance...
