Sabres take on a ton of salary here and they dont address their biggest needs- a guy that can play a competent #2 center and/or a 2nd line rw. I wouldnt turn down any forward that can score, but lw seems to be a position of depth if not strength at the moment. Still think the best bet is ristolainen one for one or with a small add to address those holes. Our defense has changed a ton already, the right side is completely different and if dahlin and pilut take a step, basically so is the left. Is it good?- too early to say, but at least its different.

Sabres can't accept the Edmonton deal fast enough. Crazy overpay by Edmonton. Sabres can then flip pieces for an RW or C if they want to.

Pass on Leddy. They'll be lucky to get just a 2nd for him.
