its a fantasy league roster you're hoping sacrificing every quality pick for bulk late picks is worth
its one thing if you kept it within reason but half way through you went
'why not use em all ' like a kid with their first paint set smearing colors together .
if you moved out all the UFA's for example between now and 2022 to invest in the RFA's aka our new Core
by adding players like Jost and Fiala but after that its just a lot of other teams fleecing us hard . (Danault trade is very close though but the rest are bad)
if you moved out Tatar its a 1st for sure this is the Cap era son and he's got a really desirable cap and is a consistent 20 goal score who plays a 2 way game with speed.you're looking at more then a B- prospect and 2 mid round picks. Tatar to EDM for JP and a 1st makes sense as its the only way a top 6 forward is coming back to EDM for JP as he looks like EDM system broke him to like many former 1st round picks not taken 1st overall(and some that were) . or a Ho-sang and a 1st for the same reason .
Gallagher trade im fine with because it clears us enough cap to bring him back as a UFA in 2020 if he wants to .
Byron i'm fine with even though we should be the ones paying for Fiala not the other way around , good concept but your undervaluing Fiala slightly but like Byron he's a small forward who made his career on stepping up in 1 organization , there is no guarantee we wont end up with a James Neal situation on both sides where they just dont fit the system.(that being said MTL is speed based so Fiala should work here ,doubtful Byron works in Wild's system though
moving out Domi and Drouin is just so bad
Drouin could break out this year he's been consistent his first 3 years averaging 50pts a season on 2 teams and at 24 he's just entering his prime years as a hockey player. but MOST important is Drouin switched his training from focusing on being lean to increase speed to bulking up and putting on muscle so he can battle in corners according to his dad whom i ran into during the QMJHL playoffs (he's a Mooseheads fan for years before his son played there and still goes often )
Domi's the perfect guy to play with Kotkanemi longterm
him and Ylonen would be great.
Drouin's the perft guy to play with Poehling and Caufield long term
him and Caufield's speed and goal scoring ability will be complemented by the Power Forward Poehling.
Good Concept overall but you took what could have been a good realistic 2-3 trade post and turned it into a joke post.
