Bruins 19-20 signings and trades

Created by: Sun79king
Team: 2019-20 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 24, 2019
Published: Jul. 24, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
There is rumours that Kreider is available, and I think that he would be good fit for Bruins. And he's from Massachusetts.

Columbus have a lot of cap space and I think that Columbus could be a team that Backes is willing to go.

That trade doesn't work for the Jackets. There's a lot of cap space available for this year, sure, but the year after that is when we need to resign PLD and Anderson, so having that second year on Backes' contract is killer. Plus, we've got more LDs than we know what to do with, so adding Moore doesn't really help the situation.

way too much for mcavoy on a two year deal, and i don't think the rangers or jackets accept those trades.

Way too low for Carlo and McAvoy; at least one will sign a long-term deal (likely Carlo). Also, trading your future for one year of Kreider isn't the best idea, noting that he's LW, not RW.

Way too much and way too low grin Thanks for both of your opinions but heres a thing:
McAvoy is rfa after those two years and we should have much better cap-situation at that time.
Also we got these old guys: Krejci, Bergeron, Marchand, (Chara), they are not getting any younger.
I see that this team got two to three years to really compete for the cup with this core. In three years Bergeron is turning 37, Marchand is 34 and Krejci 36.
We got to sign McAvoy and Carlo for just 2-3 years to save cap to go for the cup for next 2-3 years.
Also Im not seeing Senyshyn or Bjork a big part of Bostons future.

What that guy doesn't understand is that McAvoy is a group 1 RFA, and a 2 year team is ridiculously player friendly. 3-3.5 million on a two year term is likely what it would take. 3 years around 5. After that the discussion is 8 year term and big boy money, probably 9+
