ive actually read that alexeyev is nhl ready and I think hes going to kill it in the Ahl next season. you may be right but my point is that we have plenty of really good young talent that is close to if not already nhl ready. imo leason makes the capitals by all star break. he leap frogs boyd. hes going to be so good and I had McMichael easing in on the 4th line


I think the last caps draft pick that was nhl ready besides back and ovi was tom wilson and him and leason have similar size but to that point we wasted Wilsons talent for years in the meaningless 4th line role

I'd be reluctant to give up Orlov, but yeah between AA and Fehervary I'd expect one of them to supplant him, and if that package was available I'd sell on him in a heartbeat. I'd also wait and see on subbing Dowd for McMichael; if MM is ready by then sure let's go ahead, but Dowd is on a ridiculously valuable contract and I'd move Eller before him.

Imo the capitals have 4 centers on ridiculous contracts. Dowd deal is great I agree but it would be hard to replace eller. He’s undervalued imo bc he doesn’t score 50 points but he hasn’t had this much talent around him ever between Panik and hags.

Orlov would get a massive overpayment imo and Kempny is our best stay at home dman. I bet bc of how cheap his contract is a team would give up a 2nd plus a solid prospect for Kempny

Or the different style of play? But to your point. Based off your limited understanding I assume you are a clerk or McDonald’s employee. Let’s say you had to go to Russia now and make burgers. Your ability to do that is there but due to a lack of understanding and how comfortable you are with your surrounding would have an impact on how your are able to do that job. His numbers 2nd half got better not to mention their were 0 russians on that ahl team. Jarry is average and that all he’ll ever be. Samsonov ceiling is a lot higher but next year when he kills it expect me to call you out
