The problem is as the cap goes up those players you identified will want more of a piece of the pie. Seems easy to say they have to accept those deals but other teams could and will complicate the process.

Lol no way in hell is the point deal fair. Hes gonna get the same as Kucherov for less term. so around 9.5 or 9.75 for 6 years

Hes a 90pt first line centre. If Tampa was gonna sign him to 8.5 they would've done it already. Hes gonna make the same as Vasy and Kuch

I doubt it's even 6, no one wants to sign long term since they know the cap is going to explode with the expansion team and next TV deal. They want to hit FA and get that money. 4-5 year deal.
