Not long ago that $$$ for Tzachuk would have been OK on a seven year deal. Now with the RFA craziness it probably not even a five year deal. More like three years.

5 would be such a poorly negotiated term. 3 and he stays an RFA or long term 7 or 8. Five is literally worst case scenario and a sign that the RFA with no leverage is running the show and Treliving has no control

Maybe for 4 years, there is no way Tkachuk signs for that though. 7.5 for 5 is a good signing number for the team. Hoping for 7.125AAV for 5 years is a pipe dream lol

As a Calgary fan, I hope they get this done but there is no way either of these players agents accepts those offers...
