Team is to show possible line-up for season. Hall being gone or not at TDL is not relevant to the meaning of this post.

No on all theses moves.
I get that it is a curve but lets not even entertain it!
"Hall is good as gone", take care of your own house, Marner following Willy into the season! That worked well!

Oh I know I’m just saying that he’s probably not going back unless you make it to the 3rd round or better

Pretty low risk signing for that term so wouldn't hurt. I would imagine that Devils will be seeking out a middle 6 RW though. Someone who can put up 20 goals and 40 points would be very ideal for you guys and better balance out the roster.

Justin Williams would be a great addition as a vet presence (and the man can still play) and I think Tobias Rieder can become a solid player for the Devils. Fresh start, solid opportunity, no stress. Worth a shot

Lol counting out NJD so early is poor. They have a great/ good if you don’t wanna use the word great prospect pool. Their only real scare is net. Which if I was a devils fan I would be trading for a goalie honestly at TDL with promise, or three way trade for Georgiev as a backup/ potential starter if he turns her around or wait till FA and go all in Holtby if Hall does leave. But if Schneider can atleast win 20 games lol and maybe acquire some sort of tandem like Carolina they’ll be a wildcard most likely and than who knows what happens

But Vatanen plus prospects + picks or something can pull a goalie from a seller

Well I feel like that entices Hall? Why leave team with a bright future (2-4 years could tell all), for a team that’s cap strapped but gonna offer you a lot of money. New Jersey can offer you a lot of money and also have a ton of money to spend around you. I’d see like idk maybe let’s throw my team in the mix for sake of conversation: San Jose offers 10.5 for 7, you go yeah San Jose is a perennial contender and what not, but this team isn’t getting younger and neither am I: NJD can build around me and not add me in to the core

Oh yes NJ would be a great place for him to stay but idk if he really likes it by the sound of the reports. Plus he’s also stated he wants to win now and NJ is probably 3-4 years away from being a Real contender

Could be true we won’t know till offseason, but I’d think New Jersey says Hall we’ll give yah Xmil for Xyears and go all in for Holtby you 2 make this team a contender, smith comes up and even after signing Hall and Holtby (if it happens) this team still has millions to spend and still has talent. I understand the whole win now thing but you see Shattenkirk leaving 2 teams for a preferred place (home for him) NYR and hoping to win in NY, with him arriving. Than both teams win a cup (STL WASH) if you count your eggs before they hatch we could see Hall leaving a cup winner
