And Dubas chooses if Babs still has his job. As well, Marner contract carries him straight to UFA without buying any of those years.

He doesn't choose who plays on the Marlies. I've got JP there for the entire year while he recovers and learns the Leafs way of doing things. Then Babcock can have his look to see how he has progressed.

Thought 5 years was the number. I can change it to 6 easily enough

4 years carries him into UFA, 5 years buys 1 UFA year but expires at the same time as Matthews and Nylander. 6 years would be better.
