Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

Forwards:
1st Line: No explanation needed, they are a killer line.
2nd Line: Domi and Byron work well. Drouin and Domi need improvement. If Drouin ever needs to miss a game, Cousins could slot in next to Domi. I know second line is a lot for Cousins but he has grit similar to that of Shaw and has some good passing.
3rd Line: The Finns were great and are definitely likely to get better.
4th Line: Poehling could be good with a veteran player like Williams.

Defence:
Pretty much what we all expect. It would be nice to sign Gardiner but depends on cost. I don't think Gardiner is worth 6 mil and I didn't want to put less because people would say I'm undervaluing.

Alzner trade: Any team with over 12 mil in cap would be good. At 3 million, Alzner could be a solid 3rd line defender. I would be comfortable retaining up to two mil in cap.

What is the point of the prospect trades? They're mostly lateral and I would argue you're downgrading in both.

I wouldn't trade Brook only because after him at RD there's not a lot left in the pipes so you're taking away from a weaker position. I think we have enough LD prospect so let's remove this one (Sure Wilde is a good one doe!)

We need to trade away a goaltender or two (If they want LaCouvee in Laval) so if Lindgren go out it wouldn't be for another one cause he'll go play in the ECHL anyways.
