Trading UFAs at the deadline when you just signed them in the summer before will probably make free agents even less willing to sign with Ottawa

There's a lot that could be talked about here, but I could definitely see Ennis getting moved at playoff time for depth scoring/injury replacement player. 1 year at 800k is super movable for a guy who put up 12 goals in 53 games playing with Frederik Gauthier, Par Lindholm, and Connor Brown for the majority of the season.

As a Sens fan, all these trades are completely absurd.
