My First Look at Nashville

Description
This team has a crazy amount of depth and aren't in a terrible cap situation. The center depth is ridiculous without Turris. I don't know who's better at faceoffs but my guess is Smith. I like Granlund and believe he can be a top 6 70 point guy. What is Turris's trade value?

I would not be trading Turris at this point. He is at the lowest value of his career and would be considered a cap dump. Try him out on the wing with Duchene and Granlund and see if he can keep up the offensive momentum he found at the world championships in the spring. He still has the top-6 in him - he's fast, skilled, and defensively reliable, just needs his confidence back. Will split faceoffs with Duchene and that would be one of the best faceoff lines in the league.

Smith hasn't played any center at the NHL level.

I'm a firm believer that you can't have too much center depth. If anyone is on the block, i'd say Bonino b/c as a #3/4C Jarnkrok or Sissons can adequately replace him. Jarnkrok/Sissons/Bonino have never shown the ability to get ~50-60 pts as Turris has. Keeping turris is possible is alot better incase of injuries and if used as a 3C with say Tolvanen could pay off wonderfully allowing that line to be sheltered and get lesser defensive pairings. Gives Tolvanen a talented center to work with too.
