I do not see why Marody, Benson and Bouchard can't win jobs unless they have bad camps. The only one who could be beat imo is Benson if Nygard outplays him in camp. That doesn't mean they should stay past a cup of coffee if things aren't clicking right away, but it does mean that they win a roster spot to try and prove they are middle of the lineup players.

Predicting Vanek since Holland knows him well, could get PTO or just sign.

I think that 3rd line, in sheltered offensive minutes (since the 4th line is a very capable shutdown group), could see all players ending up with around 30 points which would be a big improvement.

Second line is a crap shoot. Just hope that Gagner and Vanek find some of the chemistry they had during their brief stint together in Van, and that Nuge is able to drive the play enough to avoid getting totally caved.

If these lines start out like this and stick throughout the season, I see this as a reasonable prediction:
