I dont see why we would play Rasmussen over Benson if we wanted someone young as 2LW.

To the first point, absolutely if Benson cracks the roster with great play in Camp, no need for this. Neal I think should play right side with LH Centers.

As far as a pick, I would hope the Oil wouldn’t have to add, but I have no clue what Pulju has done to his stock lately from GM perspectives. Perhaps both Yzerman and Holland would be happen 1 for 1. I included a pick honestly to avoid any DET fans saying Pulju is a bust and not as good as Rasmussen (when Pulju has actually shown just as much).

The upside is, Rasmussen will play, whereas Pulju will never play again in Oil silks most likely.

I also like a Rust idea still. He might do well with Nuge at 2LW.

I think the main thing for GM's is that he's recovered from his hip surgery and that he's recovering his confidence.

There are scouts at the Champions Hockey League tournament, where Jesse has scored 2 goals, 4 points and is +4 in 3 games... his skating is fine and his confidence is recovering.

But there's no rush. I think GM's will continue to monitor the situation and wait for regular season Liiga games before pulling the trigger on a trade.
