I really like Ty Smith but geeze we already have so many high end Left D prospects (Niku, Stanley, Samberg, Heinola) and we just locked up our top pair Left D for 8 more years. If you add in Ty Smith that is 6 Left Shot D. We need a RHD with top pair potential or hope that some of these guys can play on the right side.

I think I'd pass because I don't see McLeod as a sure thing 2C.
