With Byfuglien out to start the season, Gus helps Winnipeg a bunch, even if extending him will be tricky. Saad short term replaces Laine's goal scoring. Adding a pick helps the value. I think they'd prefer to re-sign him, but this is something they should consider if it isn't working.
