Don't think CBJ would be down to do that, because:
- they won't be picking in the 1st round in 3 straight years;
- they only had 3 picks total in 2019, starting in round 4;
- their first pick in 2020 would be in round 4;
- and their first pick in 2021 would be in round 3

A 30 y.o. Kane, even though he's one of the best active NHLers, isn't the answer for them, they need draft picks

Not enough for Kane and no way would he consider waiving his NMC

Crow is worth more as a rental hands down.

Maatta isn't worth all that, eliminate one of the 2nd round picks but otherwise interesting and close to street value.

The Saad trade certainly makes sense at the TDL, although not that much retained. A more reasonable number would be $1M retained for a late 1st round pick.

It's a nice thought but it is not to happen, with Lehner and Crawford there is no way they are not contenders for the cup
