Baertschi and Goldobin to Edmonton for
Pulujarvi and Manning makes a lot of sense for both teams, maybe add some mid round picks to even it out if necessary but it's pretty close already.

That's because from Detroit's pointe of view it is. Never played more than 70 games in a NHL season what is he made of glass? or Just so good that he's a healthy scratch half of the season? There isn't a team in the league that would give up a 3rd for him.

If it's not a cap dump why are you asking for a 2nd pair AHL defenseman?
