My understanding is that Honka could be had for at worst a third and cost at most $1 million.

You can’t trade guys you just resigned before the season. That’s an awful look.

I'm not arguing that point. Just saying that a 3rd round pick holds more value

Agreed that it sounds like a 3rd is the ask. I would gladly give that up for a depth RD that could play now and have an impact.
Ritchie for Perrault makes little sense though. Taking on a bigger contract for a older and more expensive player.
