Aw, that's a shame. I was hoping he had made a full recovery.

The League has been taking steps to cut down on head injuries but has to do more. There is virtually no such thing as "an inadvertent stick to the face"; such contact is almost always an automatic penalty. The same should be true for contact with the head.

Nobody really has any idea how long he’ll be out. He practiced a bit during the offseason, and was even cleared by doctors, but he hasn’t been on the ice during training camp or the preseason. He’ll start the year on IR, could be out for a week or the whole season.

Darn so I'm guessing Jason Robertson didn't have a good training camp? I was hoping he'd make it to add more offence.
