According to Friedman Dallas is asking for a 2nd/3rd + prospects for Honka so here JP = 3rd and Bear I think is fair. Maybe change the picks or scratch them?
Zucker could be an over pay but the ask seems to be a first as starter so change that to Yamamoto and I think this deal gets done easily. Tierney could be an ambitious first but taking in Russell makes it worth it for both teams I think.

Bear had a good camp/preseason so why trade him for Honka.

The Zucker trade sure but the Tierney trade might be a bit much.

In explanation it works for getting rid of that 8 mil over two years and true over the bear trade I just feel like Honka could really do well there (just an impression obviously could be wrong)

Zucker trade is only one that makes sense but Oilers would have to send cap dump(s) plus extra pick to even the salary for this year like Gagner or Russell at minimum.

Bear for Honka.. which sounds like side grade, but then also losing JP and signing Honka to over double Bear's salary.

Gagner Dino is already suggested and just betting on Honka playing well, but bear doesn’t need to be traded for this to work
