This package would give any contender an even much better chance to win the cup for two years. Montreal could take an equivalent cap dump (1-2 years at 4-5M) and would be looking for a young LHD.

I know Serg is just used as an example here but IDk if any team is willing to part with a young D of his caliber. Either way Kylington looked great out there vs Colorado in the season opener despite the loss. Might be worth keeping an eye on since he will be pushed back to 7th man when Valimaki returns from injury. IDk about Tatar or Petry but Danault and Juulsen/Brook are on my radar since we are pretty dry on RD prospects and wanted to upgrade Tkachuks center this summer. I'm not saying this is fair value or anything, just a player to keep a note.

Well TB ultimately can't afford to do this, no matter how much you retain salary.
