Saad salary costs too much for the Oilers to handle but JP value is slowly rising again

I mean is this basically a cap dump for Chicago, is that what we are saying here.
Because JP doesn't have much value.

Larsson won't be on LTIR forever, so this trade puts them over the cap. In any case, although Puljujarvi has regained a bunch of value (despite what haters on this forum think) and continues to do so, Saad is a 26-year-old that puts up 23 goals and 48 points per 82 pretty consistently so I think he has more value. However, I note that he's playing on the 3rd line in Chicago this year - maybe he's fallen out of favor there and is available in a trade like this.

Saad would be an excellent compliment to Nugent-Hopkins, so thumbs up for thinking of this trade.
