I don't understand why you think you can get our starting goalie for such a small amount. If you want our backup, how much will you give for Dubnyk?

Stalock is the backup, so it makes sense. We can bring up Kähkönen as our goalie of the future. Plus Dubnyk is gone after next season, so might as well start bringing up the youth.

Dubnyk may be the first goalie on the depth chart, but our top goalie this year is Stalock.

I wouldn't want to bring any of the new goalies up this year. Let's give them another year to build confidence down there in the minors.
