I don't think Ottawa should be looking for another defenseman, and we definitely shouldn't be trading away Formenton. Zaitsev is expected to be back for Monday's game against Columbus, and in the meantime Jaros and Lajoie don't look bad. Nothing against Stecher, he's a great player, but to me, the need isn't there.

Like Stecher, but no. Sens can just re-sign DeMelo if they decide they want another veteran RD next year. Formenton is a guy they're really high on.
