Honestly, we need work on the system. Yes, Price & Kinkaid have been sketchy and inconsistent, but 5-man D effort is sad to see.

I couldn't think of any big trade that could solve that.

Additional Details:

Folin as cheap lineup filler, not integral to trade. I have a feeling BUF isn't comfortable spending 4M on Scandella for the next few years, so this would shift where that money goes, and save 1M per year.

Scandella has been very good on a decent Buffalo defense, with pretty solid stats. Sabres dont need Folin though, they have 14 NHL ready dmen, could use an AHL forward though.

Agree. As I said in the post, the problem isn't with the quality/types of players themselves.

They allowed 8 goals on 24 shots. That bad. It's about high danger shots, not volume of shots.
