IMO Strome should ride this wave in NY and not be moved he's on pace for only his second 50 point season plus you will have to pay him accordingly on top of Sam and Montour among others. Its more cap then I would care to spend on him. Davidsson is a Boterill draftee so they will want to see how his game translates before they move him plus what a second round pick could turn into is more then Strome is worth.

We’ll have to pay Strome, but the cap will allow us to do this. Davidsson seems a rather strange figure, although it is a solid prospect, on the other hand, we have Asplund, Cozens, Pekar in the future, Ruotsalainen was signed by the same Botterill, I don’t see a problem in his trade . I will gladly trade second round, because Botterill will again take LHD, which in maybe 3-4 years will probably play for Buffalo. I would probably even try to get Pageau instead of Strome, but it seems to me Ottawa will want to return the first round, and we are not able to trade it.
