Description

Will Krug sign blood pact and sign team friendly deal like those beforehand?? Say 6.5-7M × 6?? The others slot fairly easily...perhaps they look to save on backup G. Unfortunately, not sure if Keyser or Vladar will be ready. Maybe look at Elliott or Smith if Halak needs more. Try to reestablish Moore's value and dish him to D starved team. Backes is an albatross. Maybe he retires or they outright him to Prov. I wouldn't buy him out to just save 1M.

While i think your head is in the right place i’m not sure about your checkbook.

Krug...maybe. I’m thinking it will be more 7-7.5.

Grizz, does not have much leverage but i still think he goes 3.5ish.

They let Nordstrom go.

They will try to move Backes, if not they will buy him out. They need every bit of the cap space they can get.

Good news it should go up to 83 at least,

yeah im thinking the same thing but maybe grz and debrusk get a bit more. there is a chance chara doesn't come back given his age although there hasn't been anything to really suggest it. krug is really the wild card here. I think hes a 7 million dollar dman even with his obvious defensive deficiencies. if they can get him to take 6.5 or6.75 every nickel helps. getting backes off this team has too be in the cards for it to all work out.

I'm thinking Gry slots just below Carlo and Debrusk just above Heinen... Good Krug comps would be Giordano and Provorov both at 6yr/40.5m for 6.75 AAV. Doubt Nordstrom will be back. Like to Lauko in that roll.
