You're bragging about beating the two worst teams in the west and shutting out the 2nd and 4th worst scoring teams in the west. You're so lost it's unbelievable. Keep drinking that Kool-Aid!

Nope, I'm saying you cannot discredit a shutout, because no matter who it is against, they're going to have players who have incredible scoring talent

Actually, at the allstar break they were out of the playoff pickture because Darling couldn't stop a beachball. Mrazek was average all year long, it never fluctuated, he stayed in the 25-30 range for most of his stats, which put him in the average category. Mrazek isn't a world beater, he's just Meh, Lehner has proven he's good when he's behind a good defensive system like in New York with Trotz, and that's what makes him desirable right now. What he's doing in Chicago is impressive, but for a team with such a strong defensive unit, it's actually better if he can stay concentrated during games when he doesn't see a lot of shots.

Mrazek was 2.81 .894 at the break. 23 games. Went 1.83 .938 after and the break in 17games, back to 2.73 .894 playoffs so no he was lousy for half the year and great for part of it.

Darling only played 8 games and only 1 after Thanksgiving, blaming him for being out if the playoff hunt at break is ridiculous, and his numbers were very similar Mrazek 1st half. ??‍♂️

I'll admit that there is an element to the extreme ends of seeing shots. Example. Mrazek's 2nd game of the year...3 goals allowed, but only saw 13 total shots and that's including OT. I'll agree that the single game's .769 SV% is not a true reflection of a player AND another game against NYR... BUT you're taking this to an extreme. Mrazek still faces ~30 shots a game usually.

So Let's look at what @Gofnut999 was talking about another way. Take out the (2) extremes....the (2) shutouts AND the TBL/NYR games mentioned above. Now we're finding out who Mrazek really is...2.93 GAA and .892 SV%.

Let's do that same thing for Lehner...2.3 GAA (on a FAR worse team) and .936 SV%.....

Piskie is more NHL ready than Bean is. That's just a fact. Priskie's defensive liabilities are far smaller than Bean's.
Fleury's been better this year, and he's forced himself into the conversation on the best blueline in hockey (yes it's the best don't even). Fleury would be of greater interest to NJD because he is NHL Ready.

Fleurys value has dropped significantly the last 2 years. McKeown and Priskie have never been more than mediocre prospects. None of them get you Hall. They are the 3rd piece in the deal. Bean does. With no 3rd piece needed. ??‍♂️
