Interestingly they would be limited to who they could call up. Would have to be a guy making 800k or less (minimum plus 100k). So guys like marincin, Gauthier, Petan, Shore would all be eligible but engvall or Sandin wouldn't.

That is correct. I would imagine that the roster would be set up correctly. Not being able to call up sandin does suck but the leafs are chalked full of contracts 800k or less.

Yeah and it isn't ideal. Can't have them at practice in advanced, likely can't be with the team until the 19 player game so would have to take a flight and not be in with the systems (though Keefe at both levels helps there). But certainly a lot better than I thought.

And I am not sure on d, but at forward I feel like there are literally 6 or 7 guys under 800 k
