I like the first two. Siegenthaler is tough enough for third pair, and Kempny stays back to cover for Carlson well enough, just based on Carlson having one more even strength point than McDavid on the season so far.

edit: the other teams probably pass on the first two unless each gets an NHL-ready tough guy from Hershey, so I guess probably throw in Lewington and O'Brien, and let the kids fend for themselves.

Caps pass on that Sharks trade for sure. Overpay, I wouldn't trade Siegs straight up for a half year rental. Siegs is going to be a good top 6 Dman for years to come, you don't trade him for a half year rental.You keep him and play him. He's a big body with solid skating, good reach, fairly tough on the puck and a knack for blocking shots.
