That’s a no from Columbus. How about a 2nd and middle 6 forward prospect? We really don’t what Sheary, he has no value to us at this point, he doesn’t bring anything we don’t already have.

Why do you say that? Because he doesn’t have many points?

Points aren’t the only thing of value in the NHL. Josh is a big bodied forward who’s not afraid to go to the front of the net, has decent hand and has above average speed. He also blocks shots and plays hard in his own zone. So yes, he doesn’t have many points, but brings a lot more to the team then just points.

That’s just not true. Plus Anderson is an RFA. Sheary is a UFA. So no reason for CBJ to trade for a guy on an expiring contract
