Description

If the avs want to be competitive they need more scoring depth so the young guys can come into their own and to keep the scoring threats. If Barrie is signed for more than 5.5 thats not really possible and the team will have lots of trouble scoring this year.

Too much for versteeg, not enough for Barrie, and Grimaldi will be in the AHL, Martinsen will be up with the big club

Too much for Versteeg, not enough for Barrie, but probably balances out. Also, get Iggy out of the top 9! Switch him and Comeau.

If Krug got $5.25M, Barrie is at $5.75M minimum.

Its all about term though If Barrie is given a one year, through arbitration or agreement Avs have 9 mil in opened up capspace to pay him more next year.
