Description

The Sens D has been ruined with injury to the point where they may have to call one of their two European D prospects, Olle Alsing or Lassi Thomson. Lassi is only 19, and already getting ready for the WJC so it'll be Alsing.

Either that or Leafs can trade you a guy like Gravel or Marincin who both can play both sides. Marincin fits better since he played top-4 minutes before. This is not a joke or anything, but it could be a quick solution.

Roster freeze went into effect at midnight, which means they can't make any moves until the 28th. Once the make it to the break they should be able to come back healthy, but these last few games they don't have other options available.

Looking forward to the New year when they can get guys like Wolanin, DeMelo and Hainsey back.

LOL seriously though. I cringe at the over 27 mark let alone over 30 or 33. Can we please not burn him out before his decent contract kicks in?

Brannstrom has looked great since being called up. If he can make it work with the big minutes that'd be huge. Get to the break, and you get Hainsey back when the break is over, then Zaitsev, DeMelo and possibly even Wolanin are back in January.

The injuries are brutal, but this is the ideal time for it to happen.
