Why do you think the Jets have only one non-roster goalie under contract?

That’s one of the reasons we re-claimed Comrie. At the start of the year we were intending to have Comrie and Berdin be in a tandem role, going 50-50 on starts or something close to that. But when Comrie was claimed by the Yotes, we didn’t sign anybody else and just went with Outhouse, a guy who looked pretty good in training camp. However he’s not ready for the AHL yet, with Berdin forced to play 27/31 games so far.

Once the roster freeze is over, Comrie should clear waivers (unless Arizona claims him again lol) and we’ll be good.

Hey Spleenmaster1002 do you know if Outhouse is going to Jacksonville?

I wonder what's going on with some of the Jets recently drafted goalies like Holm and Moe, wonder if either will be joining the Moose next season.

I’d imagine hes going to Jacksonville when/if Comrie clears waivers. I think we’re going to wait until we know that no other team needs a goalie, cause right now I think the Yotes might re-claim him due to Kuemper’s injury.

Yup I could see the Coyotes claiming him, would be good to keep Comrie around for depth and the expansion draft though I really wish it'd worked out for him with Detroit.

Wonder if Berdin/Comrie is the best goalie tandem in the AHL, gotta be pretty close to it if it isn't.
