Description

I am bored and just thought I would dash off a from-the-hip construction exploring whether the doomsayers are right -- namely, that there isn't room to re-up the Captain next summer. But it looks to me as if this won't be a problem if the Blues buy out Steen and move Allen. I've given a couple of the youngsters bridge deals awaiting the expiration of Bozak's contract in 2021. My conclusion is that this isn't really the impending disaster the gloomy ones are predicting.

To me, Pietrangelo is too valuable for the Blues to let him go.

I'd appreciate hearing from St Louis fans about the values I've given the RFA's.

Blues isn’t my first team but Dunn will get more
DLR will get less
Blais might get a little bit less since he’s young and it’s just 2 years
Pietrangelo will get 7 years IMO
Doubt NJ accept Allen just like that, they have Blackwood and can sign a G in free agency

Despite what the rabble likes to say, Allen has more value than that (though perhaps not to NJ).
