Domi contract is the same that sean monahan have. Same draft, same position, verry different stats. Domi will not have much money because he is not a high quality number 1 center. he tells that he want to stay here a long time, prove it like drouin.
For the expansion draft, mtl will have to much player to protect to risk to lose one of them. KK, suzuki, gallagher, danault. drouin, domi, tatar, weber, mete, chiarot ( he will chose seatle to be one of the 10 team that he cant be trade so mtl will be obligated to protect him.) and price. Si, it let Tatar, byron, lekhonen, petry, fleury. Canadien cant lose one of them for nothing and seatle will want more than just a prospect B and kulak to dont take those players.

As a writer, I admire anyone who tries to communicate in English when English is not his first language.

Montreal might choose to keep Jeff Petry and decide not to protect Shea Weber and that huge extended contract. And next year will determine whether their third defenseman will be Mete or Fleury.

Montreal didnt protect Radulov Markov for Begas expansion draft. 4/7, let’s say Danault & Gallagher are receives extention this summer (2020) so they’ll need to be protect. That’s 6/7 so we can protect Jake Evans too. No Zero stress for the expansion draft, we’ll lose a dman that’s it.
