I'd wager it's going to be higher. He knows he's not a 10 million dollar player but back to back 30 goal 70 point seasons and he's still 24, he's going to ask for 9 mill a season I'd wager. He wants to be a start and will want proper compensation.

Ah, for some reason I thought he scored 30 last year. You are right he won't get as much as I thought.
