AA’s poor season and cap constraints makes me believe that Rangers would turn this down. Good targets for Detroit though.

AA's true talent lies somewhere between this year and last year's 30 goal performance. A GM could take a risk on him. If he booms at the right time he can really be a force, but the bust potential on any given stretch of games will always be real.

Detroit needs to avoid Andersson he only cares about himself and is not the guy you want in your locker room. The Rangers aren't trading Georgiev at least not until the offseason.

I agree. The rangers will be tight next year. It would all depend on what AA is looking for.

Yah good idea, why trade Georgiev when teams are most desperate and will overpay to get him...........

Then Hank retires in the off season and the rangers are saying "Wow maybe we shouldn't have traded Georgiev."

I thought you said trade Georgiev in the off season, now is the best time for value...... I did not know Hank was retiring! 8.5 million is a lot to give up for 1 more year.

Ok I wasn't very clear I think Georgiev ends the season as a Ranger beyond that I have no idea.

If NYR is smart they would hang on to Georgiev. No way AA and Svech get the deal done.
